Bio

I am a researcher, educator, and mentor. I have worked in many fields of biology- from conservation to infectious diseases to neuroscience- but what ties my interests together is using computational methods to understand complex biological systems for real-world impact. 

I currently work with Lee Fuiman and Hans Hofmann at UT Austin to understand: 

1) cell and molecular processes in early flatfish body and brain development

2) how environmental and nutritional stress and affect this development
